Ongoing cycle of prints. Intaglio from copper and zinc plates, partly with chine-collé (japanese gampi- and kozo-papers, chinese xuan paper, indonesian papers) and stone lithography. Sizes vary.

This is what I wrote about the Graveyards early 2011: "Ongoing series, started out as a homage to Ekkehard Thieme's print "Walfaengerfriedhof" (Graveyard of whalers, 1959/60), and is now far beyond mere citation. Small prints, most plates are sized around 5-10cm (2-4 inch). Curious to see how this will evolve.."
In 2012 the fascination with Thieme's print is still unbroken, the plate sizes have significantly decreased, they are now around 1-3cm, and the images have become more complex, using up to 54 plates for a single unique print. Still curious to see where this is going..
